When I was little I believed I could take photos with my eyes.

I remember doing a short, hard blink as if by doing that I could somehow record that moment forever. I guess in that simple, childlike way – long before I got my first camera – I realised that some moments were there to be treasured.

In many ways, little has changed. For years I worked as a travel writer, exploring the world with my camera, collecting experiences, feelings and memories as I went, ad weaving them into stories to remember.

And now it’s your stories I want to tell. I want to use photography to press pause on the relentless plod of time. To capture the emotion, the love, the connection.

To preserve how it felt – the hazy blur of those newborn days, the tiny hand coiled around your finger, the fiercely close embrace of your youngest child. For me, photography isn’t about showing perfection or forced smiles, or beauty without soul. It’s about delving into a deep well of emotion, full of all its honesty and raw sentimentality.

I want to create timeless images for you, photographs that are steeped in nostalgia, that bring you back in an instant to that feeling, and that time, just as it was.
